How is a hydraulic power unit built?
Designing a power unit starts with understanding the machine: which actuators it has, what force and speed each movement needs and how long the duty cycle is. From this information, the required pressure and flow, pump type, motor power, tank size and control valves are selected.
Suitable filtration, oil cooling and easy access for maintenance are also part of the design, because the life of pumps and valves depends on clean oil at the right temperature. The circuit schematic and parts list are sent for your approval before manufacturing.
