Hydraulic Cylinder Repair
Hydraulic Cylinder Repair at Yekta Sanaat: Leak repair, seal replacement and inspection or restoration of piston rods and cylinder bodies.
Cylinder leaks are commonly associated with worn seals, a scratched piston rod or a damaged body. After dismantling and inspection, seal replacement or component restoration is proposed; manufacturing a new component is considered where necessary.
What does a hydraulic cylinder repair include?
The cylinder is first dismantled and cleaned, and then the piston rod, the barrel bore, the piston, the gland and all seals are inspected. Rod straightness, scoring on the chrome and wear inside the barrel are measured to decide which parts can be restored and which must be made new or replaced.
A leak around the rod usually comes from a worn seal or a damaged rod, while drift under load is often a sign of internal leakage past the piston. After inspection, the estimate is given and work goes ahead once you approve.
