How it works

In a vane pump, sliding vanes in the rotor slots are pressed against a cam ring by centrifugal force and oil pressure. As the rotor turns, the volume between the vanes grows and shrinks, carrying oil from suction to outlet. Smooth flow and low noise make this pump a good fit for industrial machinery.
